Funny story: I used to like burpees. Yep, I said it. I used to love doing them with my personal trainer on my lunch hour at the gym. He'd usually include burpees as part of the "cardio" portion of our workout. (We start with a weight circuit and then move to my favorite part - cardio!)
Then, everything changed... Tuesday's WOD was an 18 minute AMRAP of 5 shoulder-to-overhead lifts and 10 burpees. I got 9 (i.e. 90 burpees), and that's when my hatred for them began!
