If you know me IRL it might sound completely absurd that I once imaged bikini modeling as a goal. SAY WHAT!? 😱🤭🤣 It's true though! I wanted it, ya'll! I was measuring out my brown rice and reading @oxygenmag on the daily! Trying to get those defined delts! I was hungry for it! 💪🏻🤨🙏🏻 . . Did I get there? Did I grace the cover or make it as a transformation story? I sure didn't and I'll be honest, my body never looked like I imagined and hoped (and secretly wanted) it to but here's the kicker: I did make INCREDIBLE strides in becoming healthier and more fit. When I look back on photos of myself shortly after discovering this magazine and beginning those dreams, I see the delts!! They were there!! I had muscles, I was strong! And I think it just goes to show, the saying to ‘aim for the sky and you'll fall among stars’ is so true. ✨ . Your end-game may not look like you imagined; it might be totally laughable but whatever inspires you, start there! Little by little adds up! I'm not trying to be like anyone else out here. 👎🏻 I just want to be ME from about 4 years ago! 🤣🤣 Doing a juice cleanse in the middle of my Whole30, and CrossFitting 4-5xs a week. Those were the days, I tell myself. And it's a slow comeback but you know what? I'm coming back! 👊🏻 Stronger and faster and hungrier and better than before.
